The Details
How it Works
The Titan laser is an FDA-approved device used to tighten and tone the skin tissue. Treatments use pulsed broadband infrared light energy to heat the dermis underneath the surface layer of your skin. This heat activates fibroblast, signaling new collagen to form and existing collagen to tighten over time.
Treatment Preparation
Topical anesthesia may be applied prior to the treatment.

What it Feels Like
These procedures can be somewhat uncomfortable during the treatment, but are not usually so after. It feels like a hot pinch toward the end of each pulse. For proper energy to be delivered, you need to feel some warmth and a little discomfort but not outright pain.
Expected Results
Titan treatments increase collagen production to fill and tighten loose, saggy skin and tissue while also improving tone and texture.
Results usually take 2 to 6 months to be appreciated and are not expected to achieve the same degree of improvement as surgical procedures.
Number of Treatments
Improvement with Titan may be seen in 3 to 5 treatments, spaced 3 to 4 weeks apart. Your clinician will advise you as to the number and frequency of treatments recommended for optimal results.
After Care
Post-Treatment
Immediately following the treatments, there may be some redness or swelling at the area being treated, which usually dissipates within the hour of by the end of the day and rarely persists for a few days.
You are able to apply makeup or sunscreen immediately after the procedure and may go back to your daily activities.
Follow Up
Titan laser treatments are typically spaced 3 to 4 weeks apart from one another.

Side Effects, Risks & Complications
The treatment itself does cause mild discomfort.
Prolonged redness at the area being treated may occur, but it usually goes away within a couple of hours after the treatment.
Swelling can occur and could last for a few days up to 1 week.
The treatment area may also become temporarily white (blanching) following a treatment. If this occurs, it typically resolves within 24 hours.
