Dermal Fillers
Overview
Dermal filler injections are one of the most widely used treatments used to fill and smooth lines, wrinkles, deep folds and improve the appearance of scars. When injected, they fill in space to restore the youthful forms of the face by adding volume to lips and cheeks and defining the natural contours of the jawline, nose and chin.
- Treatment Duration: 30-45 MINUTES

The Details
How it Works
A syringe needle injects a gel-like substance into the skin at various depths. Our fillers are derived from hyaluronic acid, a water-binding sugar and naturally occurring substance already produced in the skin. A series of injections evenly disperses the filler.
The substance fills up the area and stimulates skin cell renewal, resulting in improvements such as smoother nasolabial lines or fuller cheekbones.
Treatment Preparation
There is really no preparation need prior to your treatment.
Avoid blood-thinning and anti-inflammatory medications 1 week prior to treatment.
Areas that can be Treated
Lips, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, jawline, cheeks, chin, and tear trough (under the eye).
What it Feels Like
The discomfort associated with receiving dermal fillers is minimal, but it is not entirely pain free.
A treatment generally begins with the application of a numbing cream, which is left on for about 15 minutes. Once the numbing cream is removed, a series of injections are administered into the target areas.
Some areas may be more sensitive than others during injection.
Expected Results
In most cases, results are visible immediately after your first treatment and optimal within 1 to 2 weeks.
Clients will see a significant improvement of lost volume and restored elasticity at the treated area, leaving lines and skin much smoother.
Dermal filler treatments enhance shape, contour and definition.
Number of Treatments
Many dermal fillers only require one single treatment with effects lasting between 6 to 18 months, depending on the type of filler used.
Regular treatments will help to maintain your results. If more than one treatment is recommended, injections will be spaced 6 months apart.
